Honeytrees are a species of deciduous trees which produce a sap which can be boiled to create a thick, sticky syrup called honey (thus the name of the tree). Honey has long been used as a popular sweetener or topping for various foods, as well as in the production of graham crackers, and the alcoholic beverage mead. Curiously enough, honey is known to exist on Earth, where it is used in the same ways it is on The Land; though there it doesn't come from trees, but rather from a process involving bees, an insect which as far as anyone knows doesn't exist on the Land.
